BitmapAds is an independent interactive gallery and community display platform. Its Genesis Million map contains 1,000 × 1,000 cells, numbered 0.bitmap through 999999.bitmap. Each cell corresponds to a Bitcoin block number in the Bitmap convention; it is not physical land or ownership of the Bitcoin network.
Explore the map, select a parcel and inspect its indexed lord (the current holding Bitcoin address). Picture displays identify the inscription number so visitors can distinguish an artwork from the position where it is shown. Ownership information is cached and may lag the chain.
The artwork is more than a marketplace link.
Ordinals inscriptions place content in Bitcoin transactions and associate it with individual satoshis. For a self-contained image inscription, the artwork’s bytes are recorded on-chain rather than existing only at an artist’s or marketplace’s image URL. The inscription’s history can be inspected independently of this gallery.
That is the appeal of Bitcoin digital artifacts: a shared historical record, a verifiable inscription and a work that does not depend on this particular website as its only source. See the Ordinals Handbook.

During Beta, anyone can select an available rectangle up to 21 × 21 bitmaps, enter a supported image inscription number or a short text, preview and publish a free web placement. Browsing and free placement require no wallet connection. No artwork is transferred by this flow.
New free placements receive 7 days of protection against other free placements; older placements retain their recorded historical window. A placement can remain afterwards, but may be replaced under the published priority and lifecycle rules. A web placement does not create an inscription or guarantee permanent display.

The underlying inscription is separate from BitmapAds’ optimized static preview. Supported animations are shown as still images. The gallery’s caches, free placements and presentation are off-chain services that may change or become unavailable. Blockchain preservation depends on the Bitcoin network and continued availability of its historical data; no website can promise literal eternity.
Platform showcase copies are labeled, low-priority exhibits. They are not new user publications. Showing an image does not authenticate its creator, transfer copyright or imply endorsement by its project.
